KGNU Listeners

Recently Boulder County's own community radio station KGNU installed a new antenna at Davidson Mesa near Louisville. This antenna will serve both analog and digital signals and offer increased wattage for the station.

KGNU offers programming by and for front range listeners with shows predominately hosted and produced by local community members. KGNU has offered programming for the front range since 1978. You can hear the signal at 88.5fm, 1390am, and www.kgnu.org

The new signal is directional, and as per FCC requirements, must not be aimed to Table Mountain and the antenna site off of Nelson Road. However, one would hope Niwot could still be included in the stronger reception.

If you have had troubles with the signal in the last few weeks, your input to the station is very helpful to see that we still receiver our community radio station.
