Longmont Airport Expansion Proposal

Longmont Airport is currently in a master plan review process.  Two proposals include expanding the length of the runway which would allow more and larger jets to land, and an increase in the planes for Mile Hi SkyDiving.  

The sky diving planes are quite loud and have a negative impact on those of us who need quiet to do business.  The planes already circle over Niwot as they climb to the proper altitude for skydivers.

If you have concerns about this, please check out the meeting this Thursday, July 15 at the Longmont Library, 7pm, or contact the City of Longmont.
