Community Park

Much discussion has been taking place about the proposed park across from Whistle Stop Park. Residents in the area are mainly in support of the park and have complimented the landscape plans, but concern has been stated about the location of the restrooms. One resident stated
"We question the need for them at the Niwot Park, especially since there will probably come a day when Whistle Stop Park will see the need
for permanent bathroom facilities. We think there is an opportunity to
look at the public bathroom issue for both parks comprehensively and
siting them in a location that does not impact any of the residential
properties in the neighborhood. We are extremely opposed to ever
opening the bathroom facilities in Niwot Park for events at Whistle
Stop Park."
